How edit Category file?

How can I edit (simply) my category index file (category.db)?
- as simply as using a text editor,
since I do not know how to handle database files like sqLite format 3 files, which is what I read at the top of xnview's files in a text editor.

I have searched in vain so far online.

E.g. in event of source photo files being moved,
it would be very useful to be able to update the db file (or files?)
rather than have to recreate all my categories again with in xnview.

I can do this easily for gthumb (linux pix manager), since gthumb's catalog index files can be edited simply with a text editor.

There is no easy way. You can use SQLiteBrowser
