plugins and addons

Post by pc001 »

All,
Anyone know what I am doing wrong with installation of any of these additions?

1. Quote from another user but I am in the same situation with xswf plugins.

"hanks for the wonderful plugin! Unfortunately, I failed to make it working...

- I've downloaded xswf_1.2.0.0.zip and unzipped Xswf.dll (renaming the extension) to XnView\Plugins\ folder.
- I've restarted xnview - plugin is not listed in Info->Plugins Information.

My configuration:
- WinXP SP3
- XnView 1.92.2

Any ideas will be very helpful."

2. As far as the zip addons, should I be able to preview zip files in the browser by peeking into its contents?

Why you have renamed the extension??

I am sorry, I was expecting the swf to play the video, but I guess it only display 1 frame? Well, if so, I did it correctly, but now just disappointed.

As far as zip file, yes, I did copy the zip32.dll and the other 2 files into the plugin directory. I can see it shows up in the list under plugin info. However, I am able to see any zip on the left panel to be able to choose to view it in deeper level or the right windows. What am I doing wrong.

Sincerely,
Perry
