Problems with nconvert

Hello xnview


We have Problems with nconvert with some Kind of Pictures.

Here is the Log:


A JPEG TrueColor (v1.2) (RGB) - JPEG was recognized : E:\WatchFTP\Produktion-Mac\0912_spow_sbr3

Width:1016 Height:768 with 16777216 colors

Nplanes : 1 Bitscount : 24

Bytes Per Plane : 3048

xdpi : 300 ydpi : 300

Error: Can't read file (E:\WatchFTP\Produktion-Mac\0912_spow_sbr3)



These Picture we cannot proceed to produce.

We use the Version 5.31 from nconvert.

Also Xnview cannot open this Picture.

I send a mail with the picture also to REMOVED ,but no answer arrived.

Is this Problem known or a new bug ?

Hello,
Your file has a problem. With xnview, enable option/Read-Write/Ignore read errors

sorry for my mispelling.

Open This Picture with Xnview ist not the Mainproblem. Thanks you for this Tip.


Is there a problem with these kind of Pictures to convert whith nconvert ?

can the new Version 5.50 of nconvert these Picture correct handles ?

Nconvert has not yet option to handle files with premature end of file
