Circular Selection Tool?

I'm a new user - XnView 1.96.5 for Windows. I searched the Help files and Forums but didn't find an answer to this question. Is there any way to make a selection using a circular or oblong selection instead of the default rectangles? Say I want to sharpen an eye that is circular, how can I do this to enable drawing around the eye freely? Thanks.

Sorry but only rectangle is possible

• This was requested a long while ago… It's not in the xPaint add-on either :|
- You could use the gratis GFIE programme which has such a tool and some filters… :wink:

Also, PhotoFiltre, a fine companion for XnView! Has free version.
