Suggestion - simple metadata dialogue

Very thanks for your job on XnView and thanks for XMP support.

I have this idea for XMP, IPTC, EXIF support:
Now I use iTag software for add tags. I love iTag because I can very simple way add: autor and keyword to IPTC (Picasa), XMP (Windows Live Fotogalery) and EXIF together (by one simple dialogue):
* IPTC:
-- Keywords & Categories: Keywords
-- Credits: Byline (It should be an author)
* XMP:
-- dc: subject
-- dc: creator (It should be an author)
* EXIF:
-- Camera: Artist (It should be an author)

Now I can do the same by XnViewMP, but not so easy. I think many users do not need to use full IPTC or XMP support. It should by nice to have some simple dialogue to add these tags together in XnView.

About iTag http://www.itagsoftware.com. Here is compatibility list http://www.itagsoftware.com/compatibility.php . This program is fine, but is very slow (.NET).

Yes, but I'm not expert to metadata EXIF, XMP, IPTC. Maybe there is better solution then iTag has. The main idea is: simple tool, which add some basic metadata (autor, title, keyword, ...) to all metadata systems (In past I did not know that author can be in EXIF - iTag add it. There are autor, keywords In properties JPEG files in Windows - iTag do not add it). I think I'm advanced user of computers, I can use "Edit IPTC" dialogue in XnView, but for normal user there are so many fileds. I teach at school and it is dificult to explain all filds, but autor, keyword is simple - it looks that this way is Microsoft goes in Windows Live Photogalery:

I do not want to press develop XnViewMP to "my view". It is only idea for discusion.

Maybe good way is user configurable metadata dialogue, but I do not know how it is dificult to develop it.

I second.

Also included should be document metatags, like from pdfs.

At least the 3 main ones should be shown:

Author: .............
Title: .............
Keywords: .............

PDFs often come with crazy filenames (nothing else but consecutive numbers, etc.), but with informative metatags. There could be a simple rename function, to replace the filename with the metatag title.
