How to print long and small pictures?

Post by n8blume »

If I have a long and small picture and want to print it, I miss the possibility to distribute the picture on 2 or more pages. Up to now I can only print with one pic per page.

I can print the picture not so that I can read the text.

Personally, I use large format printers :D

Maybe you can use a "detour" with PDF? Make a large format PDF of your file and tile it with "PDF Tiler" from http://www.noliturbare.com/index.php

Hello Peter!

I didn't know the feature to save images as PDF with XnView.
Unfortunately I could not save the PNG file as PDF, I had to convert it in JPG first.
Now I can tile the PDFs also with my favorite PDF viewer "PDF XChange Viewer", free version.
PDF-Tiler changes the sides, it brings last page as first ones.

Thank you!

I didn't know it either ... - I thought "print to PDF", and this should work with PNG too ...

But nevertheless you find a solution.
