List of tagged files must be cleaned

I use a lot the function of tagging image in a folder for reminder before batch processing.

But the way the list of tagged images is managed is very annoying:
-every time I go to another folder and come back, the just previously tagged images aren't tagged anymore
-BUT when I go to a general folder I have, I found images tagged from previous session(s) (the history seems very old in some case)

I even get such behavior:
-I go to a folder
-I tag some new photos and start batch processing: arg! some older photos were still tagged
-untag all
-tag only the ones I want
-batch process
-close xnview because of some strange rotation behavior
-reopen it, the previous folder is automatically reopen
-all the older images previously tagged are now again tagged but "Show all tagged files" from the menu display only the recent ones!

Therefore, I think that things must be clearer. Either the list of tagged files is always saved, even for a change of folder, either it is never saved.

Do you have change option/Thumbnails>Icon info -> Tagged file list must...

I wasn't aware of the option. It's set at "After folder change". I will try the other possibilities, but it's definitely not normal that I have folders with tagged file list as old as a year with this setting.
