hi, i've been having a problem where xnview freezes every time i try to close a picture/exit the program. the program will not respond afterwards, and i usually always have to use the task manager to shut it down after it freezes.
i've noticed that this happens almost always when i try to close a picture from a folder that contains a large amount of pictures in it, and far less often in a folder that contains a lower amount of pictures. the folder i'm reading these from contains hundreds of pictures... is there a setting i can change that could help fix this problem?

Re: xnview freezes upon exit
As well, THANKS!
I hat to register to be able to search for a solution... but it's good to know there is one.
BTW, I was wondering why the read ahead function can't be stopped once an exit/close event is fired?
I was also getting the freezing if I would open stock photos... 10Mpx or higher, with many files in the same dir.
Maybe the read ahead needs some optimizing so that it shouldn't be sacrificed when opening opening smaller files?
I also got this 100% CPU usage when deleting an image inside XnView... more than once, but I don't know how to reproduce it.
Maybe next time...
And another one... strange, when trying to use the jpeg lossless crop function, it said the image was read-only when it wasn't, but after a reopening of the image and app, the crop worked.
