Scanning pdf documents gives huge files

Hi,
I don't quite know if this is a bug report or a suggestion for improvement, but I try the bug report first.

If I scan to create a .pdf document, the resulting file is huge.
I use the command Acquire into and set the format to PDF. I am running v1.96.5.
For two of my documents, the resulting files were 143MB and 294MB respectively.
Scanning the same documents by Adobe Acrobat produces files of only 4MB and 12MB.

In this case XnView certainly has room for improvement.

Make a try with:
Tools\Options\General\Read/Write\Write\PDF\Compression = JPEG, quality=70%
