crash when deleting video file

When I delete a video file after playing it with xnview, xnview always crashes when I attempt to play or display the next file. This is not new with version 1.96.5, was already there in version 1.96.0. I run vista 32 bits french SP2, 4GB (I know...) (was the same in SP1)

not in fullscreen mode, favorite options: 1 xnview instance, adjust to screen size, how can I provide all the options ? (I've seen this problem on many system using my favorite options)
Whenever I view a video file, if I delete it from xnview -OR- if I delete it using the file explorer and want to open it again using the page up key, I have the same problem.

I view a video in view mode, delete it, and next video is played correctly

This has to do with options. I resetted the options to default options and since then this works perfectly. When I find the culprit, I'll get back to you

test: in edit mode (required): copy a.wmv to a copy.wmv; run xnview, delete file from wnview, go back, exit, crash.
other maybe useful settings: only 1 window view, only 1 view per file, adjust to window height
