Show thumbnails from files inside folder in preview
4 thumbnails are not enough sometimes and it's a bit annoying to enter and exit every folder. It would be easier to use the only key (wight arrow) to go to next item / folder and the thumbnails would be shown in preview (which is currently empty). The number of thumbnails and size would be customizable. It would be something between 4 thumbs in the file list and all thumbs inside folder.

Re: Show thumbnails from files inside folder in preview
This is a great idea... something I thought of long ago and perhaps forgot to post about.
Showing the thumb images of a selected folder in the preview would help me a lot... there are so many folders and the 4 images shown in the folder are rarely representative of the folder contents.
A problem (or confusion) would be that users might tend to click on a thumb (in the preview panel). This would be out of habit, because users are accustomed to clicking on a thumbnail to open the file.
One possible solution to this issue would be to visually distinguish the thumbs (as shown in the preview panel) from the thumbs (as shown in the file panel). Perhaps w/o thumbnail cartouches: show only tiny thumb images, no filenames, no borders, no ratings, etc...
Anyway: Support+++
