there's an option to add "browse with xnview" to windows explorer. I check that box, then I right click on a folder in windows explorer. No "browse with xnview" is found.
If I exit xnview and run it again, the "browse with xnview" is unchecked.
The "send to xnview" option works though.
I'm using win vista.

Re: can't add "browse with xnview" to context menu
Try this. Right click XnView shortcut or executable and select "Run as administrator" from the menu. Then enable the "browse with" context menu from the settings and close XnView. This way the context menu shoud stick.potokgaba wrote:there's an option to add "browse with xnview" to windows explorer. I check that box, then I right click on a folder in windows explorer. If you you want to disable the context menu later you need to run XnView as administrator again.
XnView Tweak UI - Tool to customize your XnView beyond the regular XnView options.
UI-less Settings - Documentation of all the hidden settings in XnView.
XFAM - Tool to create and customize XnView file associations.

I wish a helpful dialog would pop up with this info inside xnview when I tried to do this without run as admin.
