Adding an app to right click menu in browser
I have Miga Shredder on my computer and I would like to have it show up on the right -click menu when I wish to remove an image from the browser window and the associated file location. Is this possible or will I have to do that directly from Windows Explorer?
Re: Adding an app to right click menu in browser
You can add any program in the context menu of XnView with the following steps:
1.) In XnView browser, right click on the thumbnail of any image
2.) In context menu, select "Open With... > Add Program..."
3.) Choose the program you want to have added in the context menu. Typically, the executable file *.exe is located in a subfolder of C:\Program Files. Confirm the file selection dialog with "Open".
From now on you can open your file with right clicking and choosing "Open With.. > <Program name>". This works for all programs that can interpret the filename as command line parameter. I assume that Miga shredder (which you specify in step 3) will also work and shred the appropriate file.
Please Let us know here, whether this works.
