I have been using XNView for some years now (including the delux version
and I think its still the best image viewer and organiser available on the web.I have just bought a new computer and am going to switch from windows to Ubuntu Linux 64bit.
I was very happy to see that there is a Linux version of XNView, but I might have one problem : I have lots of photos classified in the category system of XNView.
Is there any way that I transfer use the SQL database to the new Linux system ? I will retain exactly the same directory layout for my photos, just probably the base directory will change (I'm rather new to Linux and will have to discover things).
If anybody here has already switched from a Windows to a Linux version of XNView, I would appreciate very much an tips you could give me on this subject.
