"Open" Change of Behaviour

About a year ago (I can't trace exactly when) the behaviour when opening a file in an external editor (using either F4 or the right-click options) changed slightly. Instead of loading the file into the editor and bringing that to the foreground, it now loads the file, but you have to manually switch to the editing program. The behaviour is the same in Windows XP, Vista and 7.

Was this a change in XnView, or in Windows? If it was a change in XnView, can we please make it optional? If not, could please you have a look at fixing it, with the equivalent of a "show window" call or similar after loading the file?

There is no change, and it's ok on my Xp
