first a big THANKS for Pierre, I've been using XnView since couple of years now, and it's still my absolute favorite.
Now to my wish: It would be good if XnView would prevent creating duplicate entries in the category db. I.e. the same image in the same location appearing twice in the same category. I just noticed several entries in my db, I'll try to sort out under what circumstances this happens.
However, I guess adding a check "is this image with this category already present" would work in all circumstances. (And yes, I am a database apps developer
)Orphaned entries: I noticed some, probably left after having deleted or renamed the image. Maybe this can be also improved.
Basically, a command "reorganise/repair DB" eliminating duplicates and orphaned records would be absolutely ideal! And I'm sorry if this topic has been already suggested, I did some search with various terms but not found anything.
