[OK]RC2: No 'scan headers' disables Expanded Preview navig

Post by marsh »

Set 'scan headers' to never.
Flag 'Dbl Click to enter fullscreen' option.
Previous file/Next file is seen in context menu, but I cannot advance to next image with keyboard or mouse.

You may need to restart program with these options to recreate bug. It was a real mind bender.

Do you mean that previous/next are broken when Scan Headers is set to Never and Double-click to ented Fullscreen is checked in options>browser ? It seems to work for me.

Right. Try refreshing filelist or starting program with these options to recreate
problem.

right I can reproduce now, in any mode but "Thumbnails" and "Thumnails & Details", after having removed all cache and restarted.

It's a problem. I need to know which is picture or movie to go to the next or previous. So if you set 'scan headers' to never, i can't know which good file to show...

Well, I guess in this case it's ok to scan the header of the next/previous file when going to the next/previous file, as the whole file would be read anyways, if displayed.

Still a problem in RC4. This alone makes NonEdit-Fullscreen much slower in practice than Fullscreen.
