A very simple painting program with just 1 brush

I often use a painting program just to write a simple note on a picture, or to draw a circle on an element or to put an X on a error.
I use a tablet so it's very fast to write down something on a picture.
I use Photoshop to do it but it is stupid to use such a huge program also for a simple note.

I hope one day Xnview will have a very very simple painting program inside! Like the "Paint" program but instead of using rectangle, circles and arrows using a simple brush!

The bursh just need a swatch to choose the color and a brush size parameter.
You write down what you want on the picture, click save and that's all!

Do you know a very simple program like this? Maybe it exists already and all I have to do is to send the picture to this external little program.
