XNVIEW crashs when printing

XnView 1.97.2 crashs at my machine as soon as hit the print button or use ...
The details of the error message are showing:
AppName: xnview.exe AppVer: 1.97.0.0 ModName: msvcrt.dll
ModVer: 7.0.2600.5512 Offset: 00037efe

Any idea what could be the reason for that issue?

Issue is solved thanks to Pierre.
I have deleted a printer in Windows and this one was the one last used with XnView.
After reinstalling the printer and choosing a different for printing the printout worked and I could delete the former printer.
