histogram of selected area

I like the histogram function in XnViewMP,
what I would like to change is the behaviour of the histogram:
I would like to see that the histogram is being calculated and displayed only for the selected area,
and ofcourse, if nothing is selected, the histogram should be calculated for the whole image.

This request is not only valid for the MP version, but also for the 197.2 "normal" version.
