v.0.25(L) Editing metadata removes Tif

1. Highlight a tiff image in browser.
2. Choose Edit Iptc/XMP tool.
3. Press save button.
4. *The file disappears from drive.

+1 I can reproduce, it seems to be the same bug than for JPG and PNG ( in fact all file image extension with meta-data in Linux)
