my apologies, I deleted the content of the settings folder. and I can drag things again.
I'll take a closer look at the new build.

I don't understand, Favorites, folders are dockable?
For me, only the preview window is completely free. I've uploaded a youtube video here. As you can see, I can only drop out the preview ("Vorschau") pane, but not the others like browser or categories.

Ah, okay. Btw, it doesn't work for Ubuntu, too.

Thank you for the new feature in MP 0.261 :)

I wish you could next make the address bar do a free-layout too as I previously requested.

To the OP of this topic, please report any sudden apparent bugs with this feature if seen.

It works now :) Really great.

But there's one more bug with the preview panel: When I attach, and then detach it (f.e. over context menu at the menu bar), it's not able to get docked out anymore. When it get attached, after it got attached and detached, it's getting hided till XnViewMP get's restarted.

1.: Preview panel is fully movable
2.: Attaching preview panel: It gets attached to info panel correctly.
3.: Detaching preview panel: It gets docked to bottom automatically
4.: Preview panel is not able to get docked out anymore
5.: Attaching preview panel 2nd time: It disappears.
6.: Restarting XnViewMP: Preview panel is back again in info panel.

When the preview panel is attached to info panel, no preview is shown when a video file is selected (edit: Oh, it seems the whole info panel doesn't work for videos). But the sound of videos get played. The sound still gets played, when the preview pane is closed completely (I think it shouldn't?)

If you have too much time, I would like to request to get able to dock out "Categories", "Properties", ... from the info panel too.
