Remove index if save as Multipage?

Hi,

Just a small thing as I'm not sure if there's a feature or some option to disable it but would it be possible to not append the index to the filename when saving as multipage? It makes sense for individual files to be named differently during batch scanning but if I'm scanning all into a multiple page file, it becomes an additional digit in the filename that I have to remove after each scan.

I know it's not that tough to rename the file after scanning but it's an additional step that I have to take each time.
