XnView crashes when assigning labels to thumbnails

Tried the below 4 times now, think there is a small bug ?

Launch XnView 1.97.4 portable from USB - xnview.exe (4.382.720 bytes)
Tools->Options->Thumbnails->Tab Thumbnail Label
Remove existing labels
Add
Filename
EXIF: Date digitized
IPTC: Caption

click OK
Windows 7 64bit reports: XnView is not functioning anymore (free translationd)
Close program

Tried the above running XnView from harddisk, same error.
xnview.ini / category.db are updated but changes are not effected.


Tried this using XnView Portable 1.97.2 (XnViewPortable_1.97.2.paf.exe)

No problem.

I can't reproduce, if you try with en empty folder, and change labels?
