v.0.26(L) Symlinked images not shown

I imagine it is already known, but a folder filled with image symlinks are not displayed with v.0.26. The curious part is that these were recognized by the windows version using wine interface.

I tried too and I have the same thing here: works into V1.9X+Wine, doesn't work with MP0.26L
For example:
