Problem converting ai.

Post by michael.shen »

I try to convert ai to jpg with NCONVERT v5.70.

For example:nconvert -out jpeg test.psd

But a error was happen.

Error: Don't know how to read this picture (test.ai)

And I try any other format, like the gif, bmp, but also this error.

How can convert ai to jpg with nconvert?

Any help or comment are most welcome. Thanks.

What about uploading the offending picture?

Maybe it needs a plugin. But why isn't the plugin requirement documented in the built-in list

So the documentation should mention 2 issues for AI:

- Needs Ghostscript
- Only a subset of AI formats is supported

I have solved this problem.
Because I haven't install the ghostscript.
But it is regret that the ghostscript can't convert all .ai. :(
Thanks DOS386.
