Is this a bug? multipg PDF > TIFF

I have converted two PDF files (created by XnView, 18 and 4 MB respectively - ZIP compression) and after creating two TIFF multipage files using that PDFs as source (also using same ZIP compression) I found out that the resulting files were a lot bigger. After digging up a little on this issue I found out that the resulting TIFF files were created with 600dpi resolution while the source ones were created at 200-300 dpi. Why XnView is forcing 600dpi on output?

You have option/read/PS-PDF>DPI

I guess it's in the preferences. I will check that.
