"keep icc profile" option not working at all...

Post by bagou01 »

hi
i'm trying to find a way to create jpgs without exifs but with an icc profile embeded.
so then i open a TIFF which has ICC and EXIFS, then in xnview i save it as jpg, uncheck the boxes "keep exif", and check the box "keep icc profile" but the ICC profile does disappear anyway, any idea how to solve that?
thanks.

Could you send me a sample file to test?

well,
any file at all, and i can't send them because these are copyrighted TIFFS (anyway their size: almost 700 Mo makes it impossible).

but does this option work for you?
these are tiffs made with photoshop and after saving them as jpgs in xvview, even with the option to keep icc checked, the icc disappears...

I've tried but no problem. Try convert, <hen you save a picture from view mode, the ICC is already applied to the picture...
