zoom changes aspect ratio

I wish to report a bug I found: a particular image's aspect ratio changes when I zoom in or out. That is, the picture becomes distorted, stretched vertically.





XnView 1.97.6
Windows XP SP3

This makes sample image appear normally:
Options... General>[ ]Adjust zoom if X/Y dpi are different.

I couldn't imagine this distortion was a feature, so I assumed it was a bug. Oops.

It's not a bug, you have different DPI in X&Y
