Batch processing with current file not working

When you enter: File operations >> Batch processing with current file - image from one tab only is presented on the Input list in window "Batch processing".
I believe that it was not intended and if there are several images opened (some tabs) - they should be put automatically onto the list...

Yes, I agree in a BROWSER mode view it works great when I choose several pics and click on tool-bar icon "Convert". Well OK, however in a VIEW mode view when at least one image is opened it would be great if there was functionality which I've described. And command "Batch processing with current file" replace with "Batch processing from current file/tab". If all opened files in tabs were added to the list it would be MAGNIFIQUE!

Oh, and one more little thing: When I mark a field on a picture and press DELETE on keyboard a whole field turns to black. Is there possibility to erase it to white? For example with pressing SHIFT+DELETE? It would be very useful in preparation a document for printing.
EDIT: Is there possibility that marked field not disappear after operation on image - in order to do more then one operation on current fragment of image? And disappear only after clicking opposite marked field? /EDIT

Oh, sorry I meant XnView... Ups! I've chosen wrong topic. All I wrote was about XnView :]
