I am looking to plough through lots of images and pick out some of them for burning to a CD/DVD
What I was going to do was browse though them with the image viewer, and tag the ones I want to burn - then I'd just copy the tagged ones to my burner program
BUT
I can't see how to tag images from view - it only seems possible to tag from the browser
Unless anyone out there knows better......
Thanks

Is there an alternative to do what I am trying to do (skim through a set of images in View mode, and "mark" some of them for later burning/copying??)

Why don't you use the browser/fullscreen view?philg wrote:Is there an alternative to do what I am trying to do (skim through a set of images in View mode, and "mark" some of them for later burning/copying??)xnview wrote:Yes tagging is only available in browser mode

I was struggling to see what you had in mind here, but I stumbled across CTRL-T to toggle tags (that's not shown as a keyboard shortcut)xnview wrote:Why don't you use the browser/fullscreen view?philg wrote:Is there an alternative to do what I am trying to do (skim through a set of images in View mode, and "mark" some of them for later burning/copying??)xnview wrote:Yes tagging is only available in browser mode
Now I have just what I want

(Now I just need my "random media card fill" function to bubble to the top of your list

Yes, Ctrl+T toogles the tag in image view mode. Use Ctrl+I to display the image information with the current tagging state of the image.philg wrote:... I was struggling to see what you had in mind here, but I stumbled across CTRL-T to toggle tags (that's not shown as a keyboard shortcut)
