I saw some keywords on an image, but when i check IPTC there weren't any - so XMP is a different way of storying keywords? Its stil in the file?

Some software can't use XMP (eg. XnView).

XnViewMP is able to use XMP or/and IPTC

Yeah, too much to read I was just looking for a one line summary or i could have goggled it - i don't care that much - I'll just stick to IPTC
