Refreshing the picture number

Hello,

I have a problem and i dont know how to set this.

For example:

i have 10 pictures in one folder and i view the 5th one -> in the left down corner it apears as 5/10

...now if i delete one or this 10 pictures, i want a refresh so that it will show 1/9...in the moment i can delete for example 8 picture and it still
writes 2/10 ...but ther are no 10 anymore it must refresh to 2/2.

how can i fix that in the settings?

I've tried, but if i delete a picture in view mode, the file count in status bar is updated...

Are the files located on your hard disk or a network drive?
