slide show SAVE location, where?

Post by klapperstorch »

When saving a slide show, XnView preselects and offers a folder to save in, which I have used at some time in the past.
But since then I have always changed the save location to store the .SLD file in another place.
However, XnView insists on pre-selecting the old folder and forces me continually to make adjustments.
I tried to find out where XnView has saved the old folder name and found in the registry
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-usernumber-string\Software\XnView\Start the entries "PathSlide" and "PathSlideScript"
where the old folder name was stored. Nowhere else in the file system (i.e. XnView related files) could I find the folder name.
But deleting the folder name from the entries in the registry did not help. XnView still remembers them.
How does it do it? Where does it save this information? Why does it not adjust the folder name every time anew when I save a slide show?
