If "Synchronize Browser selection with Curent View" option is enabled, image is opened from explorer or file manager in fullscreen, then I go to View mode (MMB), then I click 1st toolbar button "Browser", image is not opened in the browser, instead "Specified Startup Directory" is opened.
Only if "Specified Startup Directory" is set and if I go to Viewer first, if I go to Browser once (with a mouse double click) and then back to View mode it works good then.

Re: RC2 BUG: Minor "Browser" toolbar button bug
I can't reproduce it.Dreamer wrote:If "Synchronize Browser selection with Curent View" option is enabled, image is opened from explorer or file manager in fullscreen, then I go to View mode (MMB), then I click 1st toolbar button "Browser", image is not opened in the browser, instead "Specified Startup Directory" is opened.

I have "Startup Directory" set to Last Used, i open a picture, goto view mode.
Use enter or browser icon, and thumbnail is selected.

No, again.xnview wrote:I can't reproduce it.

Enable options:
- "Synchronize Browser selection with Curent View"
- "Startup Directory" = "Specified" = e.g. D:\Pictures\
1. exit xnview
2. open any image in explorer
3. F11 or MMB
4. click to Browser toolbar button
= "Specified Startup Directory" is opened instead of actual image dir
If you use double click instead of 3. or 4. it's OK.
Really minor bug I know, but sometimes is possible to swith between Viewer and Browser with toolbar button only and if "double click" works and "toolbar button" doesn't is a bug I think...
Re: RC2 BUG: Minor "Browser" toolbar button bug
Is it really a bug? You start XnView in view mode, no browser. If you click on browser toolbar button, i think that it's correct to open browser in "Startup Directory". To start in the same folder you have ENTER/DBL CLICKDreamer wrote:Enable options:

Re: RC2 BUG: Minor "Browser" toolbar button bug
I still think it's a bug. If any image is opened in Viewer and I click to Browse I expect that this image will be opened in Browser.xnview wrote:Is it really a bug? "Startup Directory - Specified" means, start xnview - xnview.exe in that dir. But if I open image and I switch between lot of images and click on Browser button that image should be opened in the browser. Also because: If I go to browser with dbl-click or Enter that image is opened there.
Users can use favourites if they want to go to "Specified dir.", but I think no user wants to open "Specified dir." if any image is opened in Viewer.
BTW - Open item is missing in Viewer in the context menu | Edit: I mean Open in Browser
Re: RC2 BUG: Minor "Browser" toolbar button bug
I agree with Dreamer. The name "Startup Directory" says it all. Also, the "Synchronize Brower selection with current view should be "stronger" than the setting Startup Directory."Dreamer wrote:..."Startup Directory - Specified" means, start xnview - xnview.exe in that dir.
