IPTC properties are better now, thanks!
AP pictures even have a "hidden" tag, like:
Name: ????
Value: -SIGNATURE-Photo+1916614+photorerun.ap.org

I 've a lot of photos (3000) that i have add IPTC data with (the easiest for me program for this job) the Exifer and also with PixVue 2.0.
IPTC properties have a "hidden" tag, like:
Name: ????
If the data is added with XnView or IrfanView there is no problem.
It's a little dificult to add the data again with XnView

So... you don't know why this tag name is? Signature? should I contact AP and ask them?

I 've a lot of photos (3000 +) already added IPTC data and i dont want to do it again in the same photos.

With other software there is not any ??? when i see IPTC data.

Plus in XnView's Edit IPTC dialog, you can't set Creation Time, only date YYYYMMDD

I knew it (i 've done it whith PixVue once for XMP metadata) but i wanted the IPTC date to be the same with exif date, and XnView doesnt do it automatic.

Why other software see IPTC data without any "???" ?

I 've notice now that in Win98 does not appears the "Name ???".
Only in Win XP SP2.

I agree that it would be very nice to be able to import CREATION DATETIME from Exif (via the >> which already expands Now and Yesterday)

Free4ever could you upload a sample that shows the unknown tag?

Yes, please.
And now XnView show all fields in IPTC data, it's why you have "???" for some fields that i don't know.

Sorry for my delay. I dont have daily access to internet.
The problem seems to be solved, after changing some settings which i don't remember!!!, but i dont know how.
