MP 0.32 geometry on SuSE not working right

Post by i.b.g »

Hallo,

first Pierre thank you a lot for your work on the mp-version.

May be a little problem I like to report. I'm working on openSUSE 11.2 (x86_64) KDE 4.4.4 "release 8". I extracted the archive to ~home/ingo/bin/xnviewmp. From there I start xnview.sh. The first time I start xnview the window has a size of 796X594 px. If I resize to my full screen (1276x950 px) the geometry of xnview is mess.

If I reorganize the window/s, close xnview and restart it, everything is broken again.

I hope the screenshots I made show you the problem I mean - the screenshots 1 and 2 are in original size.
screenshot_1 - shows the situation without xnview.ini
screenshot_2 - shows the situation after restart without change anything
screenshot_3 - shows, who xnview starts after reorganizing windows

I also use xnviewmp with ubuntu netbook remix 10.4 on my netbook, and everything works as expected there.

Thank you for your efforts.

Greetings
Ingo

Yes it's a known bug with QT when you quit XnView if Maximized

Ah, I see! So I'm waiting for a solution in future. Anyhow, xnview is the best I knew for viewing/organizing pictures.
