No duplicate finder command ?

Post by minkowski »

It happens that I have duplicate images, so I would need a command to find all those dupes and
show the folder they are in
XNView cannot find dupes ?

I could not find any help file on this command, I am not 100% sure how to use it.
The command finds indeed two similar files, but I don't know how to delete just one of them, not both and not the one I want to keep.
It does not give me any choice. I have to close down the program and go to browse view and there
remove, then go back to this command to find next similar images etc
This is not a good working method
I use Win7. Does it work with Win7 correctly ?
