Edit description

If I choose Describe in the Edit menu, enter a description and press OK, the description in the statusbar (or whatever it is called) changes to a random character, not the description. I have to switch to another picture and back to see the description.

I'm using XnView 1.97.8 on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
