.pzp from MGI PhotoSuite to GIMP .xcf or .psd

I already searched the board here.

I have some .pzp files created by
MGI PhotoSuite
that I would like to edit using GIMP.

Will
NConvert v5.80
convert PZP files to .xcf or .psd
so that I can edit them from where I left off?

Available format:

[pzp ] : MGI Photosuite Project (images)

I was able to do some conversions,
But a 159KB .pzp gives me a
33KB .psd
when i load that in GIMP the text that was in .pzp is missing and the photo resolution is very bad.
Is this normal?

.pzp gave me a good quality 31KB .jpg
.psd gives me a bad quality .28KB .jpg
