i may be using an astrophotography app that saves ccd images in .fits format.
is that something xnview/nconvert can deal with? i see fit as a supported
format but not fits.
thanks,

Re: fits format?
thanks pierre.
i don't actually have the astrophotography app yet. i'm just in the process
of investigating cameras and their accompanying capture apps. for that
reason, i have no fits files yet that might display in xnview. because i love
xnview/nconvert, i wanted to find out if the fits format, which some
astrophoto apps use as their native raw format, would be supported in
xnview/nconvert. applying a setting like 'display all file format' doesn't
seem like it would help me in this case since i have none of these files yet
to display. was just hoping to find out if xnview/nconvert understood
these files.
thanks again,
BabaG
