Sidebar Activation

I am not sure on the correct terminology but the Bar that highlights when you want to open and close the sidebar, that sidebar has the browser and favourites buttons at the top. Well my suggestion is for the sidebar activator bar to stay static ie always remain on the very edge of the screen even when the sidebar has been opened. This way i could keep the mouse on the very edge of the screen to open and close the sidebar. Also if you could make the entire bar (whole length) clickable to open and close the sidebar. Even if it was an option that you could click within the options, to change the behaviour of the sidebar. The all in one sidebar addon in firefox has a similar sidebar and it acts the way i have described.
