Editing/moving a text box

Post by Hans L »

Hello:

I have created a text box, and added text, but once there, I cannot figure out how to edit it or move it. Is there a way (I am sure there is)?

Thanks!

There is no way, but if you use Paint plugin you can move/edit the text

Ah, that is great. Now, is that MS Paint plugin? Is taht a particular plugin for XnView or a general plugin? In any event, where can I find it? I have looked up and down this website.

Thanks,

After all that, when I saw that the Addon files must be in the Addon folder, I discovered that they are already there. I assume we are talking about

Paint.lng
Paint.xnp

So, I already have them. How will they help me add a box and add back color? I do not see anything in the box "Add text to image" that would help.

Wait, I see Filter + Paint (1.06). I tried it, I could create text, but no background color and no box and the characters (in, e.g., Ariel) are outlined. Am I missing something?

Regards,

You can change settings (right popup menu)
