options for thumbnails

hallo,

the setting of options for thumbnails seems not to work similar through all folders. New settings for both width and height:145. Results in different folders: 1) everything ok. 2) upright thumbnails have the same height as the across. 3) as 2) and small black borders on the long sides (?). 4) only black borders. 5) all pictures have the original size with black borders.

Perhaps your samples have embedded thumbnails? Many programs don't look for thumbnails attached to file by a camera or editor. So the appearance might look unexpected when using another program which does. This option might solve that:
Options>Browser>Thumbnails>Appearance>[x]Create thumbnail from original image if embedded is smaller than thumbnail size
Also, rebuilding thumbnail cache might be needed to see changes.
