But let me explain some other thing not using this new checkbox:
I always did converting by using Batch Processing command and this command makes white background in beta version and in the stable version.
I've just discovered Convert Into -> JPEG command and I tried to convert using this command and it converts correctly in both versions - background stays the same.
Looks like they have some internal differencies, these two commands.

I think this new option should be enabled by default because that would match what XnConvert produces.
