Currently, if you rename a folder within XnView, it's thumbnail cache does not get updated to the new folder name. The thumbnail cache has to be recreated when the folder is next viewed after renaming, which results in two identical caches existing (big waste of space). The old one would then have to be deleted via the options in order to remove the old/duplicate cache. Not very good behaviour really.
It would be good if the thumbnail cache reference was updated to the new folder name after a rename or move operation when done within XnView.
Also, whenever I remove a folder from the list of cached folders via the options, Xnview is tied-up for the next 5 minutes, presumably while it does an optimization process. Is this process really necessary?

Re: Update thumnbail cache reference when folder is renamed
I was getting ready to post something about this.
After using another tool (TC) to move all of my images to an identical folder structure but on another drive, naturally all of the cache references were lost.
Some sort of cache "fixit" tool would be incredibly welcome.
