Thumbnail background not honored

Post by frobert »

Even though I set the thumbnail background to some light yellow color, some thumbnails use a white background.
This happens when the file extension does not match the file signature. If having a different background for mismatching extensions/signature is a feature, then both "matching" and "mismatching" backgrounds should be selectable (and not the just the "matching" one).

I tried that on 1.97.8 Win32, but that did not change anything when using the *thumbnail* (without label) presentation. It did however change the *file list* presentation.

Correction: I tried to modify the File list checkbox, and at first the browser"s thumbnail display was not changed (not with a simple refresh). I had to close the browser window and re-open it for the change to show up.
