Win 98 SE, XnView 1.66:
In browser view, the first image I select (single-click), filename isn't shown in status bar. But when i select another image, the filename of the previous file selected is shown instead.
When i select a 3rd file, the 2nd filename is shown etc..
Have seen this on two different pc:s.

Re: Wrong filename in status bar [Bug]
Lars, I've tried to reproduce your problem with XnView 1.66 (on Win98 FE), but couldn't reproduce. Does the problem always occur or just somtimes? Perhaps you can send me your xnview.ini to reproduce.larswes wrote:...In browser view, the first image I select (single-click), filename isn't shown in status bar. Do/Did other users experience this problem?
Re: Wrong filename in status bar [Bug]
For me it does, always. On two pc:s with win98se. Doesn't matter if I choose "view as thumbnails", "icons", "Details" or "List"Does the problem always occur or just somtimes?
Could't find your e-mail adress in your profile, but I will send a personal message here.Perhaps you can send me your xnview.ini to reproduce.
With your xnview.ini file (Thanks), I could reproduce the problem:
The problem occurs whenever the "Preview" is hidden in the browser (Menu "View->Preview"). One effect is that the filename displayed in the statusbar is one behind, another effect is that sometimes the filename cannot be seen since the appropriate field in the statusbar is not resized properly.

Then it's a small tiny bug, in a Great
software!
I inactivated the "preview" long ago, so I couldn't think that would make difference.
