PROBLEM WITH hp SCANNING SOFTWARE

I have a problem using a HP j4680 in wireless mode when and only when I try to scan using XnView program. The other functions go well(printing and faxing).
The problem occur when in scanner using I try to select the voice "Scansione" (scan) in the menu . A windows is open with this description :
it is occur an error during comunication with the peripheric HP imaging...
Try to execute 1 of these operation:
Turn off and disconnectfor 60 sec and then reconnect and turn on.
Rearm the computer
Uninstall and reinstall the peripheral.
Reinstall the HP Photosmart software.
errore 4,[(2,7,80040007)].

Obviously in italian.
Another error occur when I try to scan again in twain mode using the multiple page introducer with more then 3 page. At the third or fourth or fifth page the program goes on error and I must at least restart the program I generally use (xNview) with the "Acquaire into..." batch scanning. with this metod I could scan multiple document and convert in a unique page PDF.

all these problem has occured when I use Windows xp or Windows Vista and now with Windows 7 as soon as I install it.
But the first problem with the menù don't happens with other program I use to Scanning (always with the original HP interface program) like TWAIN_32 Twacker 32 bit.
The program HP has benn created using LEADTOOLS 1991-2006technology, if it is useful to correct the problem.
