Like in your amazing shell extension, there is a button to save the settings to a reg file.
I hope that you add this ability to you viewer, because its very helpful.
Many thanks.

Re: Backup all settings to reg file
But it doesn't save ALL settings in that one file, namely the customized toolbar settings which are instead saved in a couple of .bar files, and in a place entirely different than the default Program Files folder .ini file.
In my case, a single user for XP, the path is:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\XnView
EDIT: with Windows 9x the path is:
C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\XnView

Yes, usually I set to ini and then just bak all that folder, works great
I put my pics on network, so even the image cache works across PCs.

Re: Backup all settings to reg file
Right,
Although .ini method is just fine and is as standard, still maybe a feature to Load/Backup all settings could be useful even for users that do not use the .ini saving method but also for if do (use .ini) a Load/Backup feature could save time in manually having to open up folders just to save the .ini
There could also be a list of loaded settings too which is useful for beta testers (XnView MP) that move between same amount different computers and would prefer to have differetn separate setups:
Subject: Settings: Load/Backup a 'copy' of the settings
